Styrene resin "YS Resin SX"

High refractive index! Contributes to the enhancement of optical properties, improved light resistance, and increased adhesion and bonding properties.

"YS Resin SX" is a 100% styrene adhesive resin (tackifier) that utilizes oligomer polymerization technology. It is effective for reinforcing side blocks of various synthetic rubber types and contributes to improving the heat resistance of synthetic rubber adhesives. Additionally, due to its high refractive index, it is also effective for modifying various optical polymers, contributing to the optical properties of high heat-resistant and high UV-resistant acrylic adhesives and modified silicone-based adhesives without compromising the performance of their base materials. 【Features】 ■ 100% styrene adhesive resin ■ Good compatibility with synthetic rubber-based (SIS, SBS, SEPS, SEBS) and acrylic-based adhesives ■ Bead form *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Information about hydrogenated styrene resin

A low molecular weight resin developed by our company by integrating our unique polymerization and hydrogenation technologies.

Unlike conventional styrene resins and α-methyl styrene resins, this resin has a sharp molecular weight distribution, excellent hue and heat stability, and is also less prone to blocking. Furthermore, it has an extremely low VOC content. It possesses a wide range of compatibility and is effective for modifying various polymers from low polarity to high polarity. Hydrogenated styrene resin differs in properties from general-purpose resins, and its unique characteristics are expected to lead to applications in various fields. Examples of applications: Synthetic rubber-based adhesives, EVA-based adhesives, modified silicone-based adhesives, acrylic-based adhesives, olefin-based adhesives, tires and other rubber molded products, various polymer modifications.
